San Francisco born Rumi Murakami spent much of her early life doing as many do, working on building a career and creating a life for herself. It wasn’t until she moved to Hawaii that she found her true calling and decided to focus on her creative side. Rumi found her work clothes were simply too heavy and hot to wear in Hawaii so she set out to design a collection of affordable, lightweight, professional clothes. When she is not working on her fashion line she is auditioning and working on her acting career.
