Robbing Mussolini (2022)

A ragtag group of misfits and rogues decide to steal Benito Mussolini’s legendary treasure in this true-ish story set at the end of World War II. Led by self proclaimed “entrepreneur” Isola (Pietro Castellitto) and his cabaret singer girlfriend Yvonne (Matilde DeAngelis), who are desperate to escape from under the thumb of Mussolini and his fascist regime, plan a heist that involves intercepting the treasure as it’s being shifted to Switzerland. Things go awry when their plan is discovered by Mussolini’s secretary Borsalino, who has been having an affair with Yvonne, and then by Borsalino’s jealous wife, Nora. The real treasure is the beautiful Matilde, who rocks 1940’s-era lingerie like no one else. Whether prepping to perform for a crowd or laying in carefully draped sheets smoking a post-coital cigarette, this sexy Italian’s cleavage is sweeter than a chocolate dipped cannoli.
