Replikator (1994)

When bioengineering is taken to its ultimate limit, a disturbing specter arises: the possibility of designing and manufacturing human beings from scratch. The notion of playing God and meddling with the process of creation is at the basis of the creepy and intriguing Replikator (1994). Two competing bio-tech corporations are in a race to effectively replicate an existing human being. One of these companies is the tool of an insanely mean megalomaniac who is set on world domination. The chief bio-designer of the "good" cloning concern inadvertently allows himself to be duplicated by the bad guys. Now he has an evil twin running around attempting to dismantle civilization. Will the good guy ever clear his name from a trumped-up murder charge? And will he find time for a few more make-out sessions with his super-hot girlfriend?
