The always amazing Lance Henriksen is at the center of the one of a kind short film Reklaw (2021), playing Lott, a man who has decided to use the rest of his time on this earth clearing crime scenes of any usable forensic evidence. Like a demented Fagan, Lott runs a team of outcasts he trained himself, but rather than training them in the art of pickpocketing, he has trained his soldiers to destroy crime scene evidence. Using several tactics, the team can trace 911 calls, arrive at the scenes of crimes before the police, and wreak havoc on any potential evidence that can be used to prosecute the criminals. Through his chaotic lens, Lott thinks he is acting as a guardian angel to criminals, preemptively absolving them of their crimes. What he never stops to consider, however, are the consequences of protecting dangerous criminals and leaving the vulnerable victims open to more suffering. As far as the title of the film goes, any good puzzle-smith out there has already noticed that Reklaw is Walker spelled backwards, but how and why that is should remain a discovery that's yours to make when watching this bloody crazy good time! The tantalizing Tasha Guevara co-stars in the flick and has a terrific topless scene just three minutes. To divulge any of the particulars would be dangerously spoiler-filled behavior, so we'll only say that you get a nice look at Ms. Guevara's freedom fighters liberated from a top of any sort when she stands up after being on the ground! That's a whole Lott more than we expected from a short film!
