Picknick im Schnee (1998)

After finding his wife in bed with his business partner, Breutigam falls into a serious depression, bringing his business to the brink of failure and placing his life in jeopardy. Climbing to the top of the bridge tower, he resolves to jump to end his misery, but fate intervenes in the form of Frankie, a young girl who is also suicidal because her boyfriend has left her. Together they resolve to live and set forth on the town to experience life anew. Picknick im Schnee (1998) is an optimistic take on life that celebrates the possible. Chiara Schoras strips down to the bare essentials, showing Breutigam the whole package, as they skinny dip at midnight.
