The Cloud Door (1994)

One of six contributions to the sizzling omnibus film Erotic Tales, director Mani Kaul’s contribution, The Cloud Door (1995), packs an impressive amount of style and sex into its half-hour running time. Filmed in India and narrated by a parrot, the short tells of a beautiful princess who’s being held against her will in a palace stronghold. Annoyed that the royal’s beauty is being kept under wraps, the parrot flies to a prince’s lair and asks him to pay a visit to the seductive dame. You’ve got to hand it to the bird: By getting the youngsters together, he does the impossible and coaxes Anu Agrawal into flashing her rack––a rare treat from a Bollywood broad.
