One Step From Me (2021)

Costa Rican films are hard to come by and though the country is absolutely gorgeous, it doesn't have much of a film industry to speak of. The film A Un Paso de Mí, or One Step From Me (2021), aims to rectify that by showing off the country's natural beauty in a feature film about a woman rediscovering herself in this paradise on earth. An over worked journalist by the name of Tatiana (Johanna Solano), has spent so much of her life focused on her career that she hasn't really made any time for herself. Her workaholic lifestyle has also just cost her another boyfriend, who wanted to get serious and take their relationship to the next level, but left when he realized that Tatiana wasn't interested in that. Now, facing down a major crossroad in her life, Tatiana is encouraged by her best friend to finally cash in some of her vacation time by stepping outside of her tiny bubble and exploring her home country of Costa Rica for the very first time. As Tatiana does that, she gets her proverbial groove back by realizing that there are more important things in the world than her job and she becomes bound and determined not to repeat the same mistakes all over again for the rest of her life. Though the film is honestly little more than a travelogue for the wonderful sights of Costa Rica, the gorgeous Johanna Solano is the perfect guide with a banging bikini body she loves to show off! It's a shame she didn't go nude in the flick, but there's only so much natural wonder one film can contain!
