A struggling female taxi driver watches the worst day of her life turn blissfully pleasant in the German action-drama Nur aus Liebe (1996). Cabby Ella (Katja Riemann) is flat broke when a pack of thieves descend on her car and demand money. Staring down the barrel of a gun, Ella watches as Prince Charming arrives in the form of debonair Russian Aleksej (Hannes Jaenicke). Aleksej fights off the thugs then woos Ella with promises of endless cash. But as she learns more about him, Ella realizes that her man is hiding dangerous secrets. Dennis Satin’s high-speed popcorn flick is fun from start to finish, although you’d have to search a lot of real-life taxi stands to find a driver as hot as Riemann. The curvy blonde peels off every last layer in a couple of steamy shower and sex scenes.
