Noll tolerans (1999)

A brawny, if not terrifically brainy, action thriller from Sweden, Noll tolerans (1999) tells of a Gothenburg cop who’s haunted by a bust gone bad. Jakob Eklund stars as Johan, a Swedish police officer who finds himself in a shoot-out with a gang of jewel thieves. When an innocent bystander bites the dust, Johan’s as determined as ever to nab the crooks and ensure that justice is served. His aims are disrupted, however, when the leader of the pack of thieves (Peter Andersson) begins threatening the only witnesses to the crime. Anders Nilsson’s thriller is bursting with masculine action, but the director makes room for some steamy subplots, including one with feisty Jacqueline Ramel. Playing a love interest on the police force, Ramel isn’t shy about flaunting her law-enforcing assets as she struts around the bedroom.
