The psychedelic fable Monkeys in the Attic (1974) follows an intrepid pizza boy as he makes a delivery to a house inhabited by four mentally disturbed people. Director Morley Markson is best known for the groovy counterculture portrait Breathing Together: The Revolution of the Electric Family (1971) featuring acid guru Timothy Leary, Beatle John Lennon, and MC5 manager and head of the White Panther Party John Sinclair. You’ll be happy it’s Jess Walton and not Abbie Hoffman getting topless when she rides the pizza boy in bed.
