What’s the next best thing to stepping in a time machine and going back to the old 42nd Street? The exploitation extravaganza Modus Operandi (2009), that’s what. Shot “in Milwaukee…where life is CHEAP!” Modus Operandi stars Randy Russell as Stanley Cashay, a black ops agent sent to recover two briefcases’ worth of stolen secrets. To help him in his quest, Stanley unleashes a grindhouse triple bill of colorful archetypes, from tough-guy Casey Thunderbird (Barry Poltermann) to blaxploitation babe Black Licorice (Nikki Johnson). Nikki will get you sticky when she appears in yellow bikini bottoms, but unfortunately her back is turned to the camera and we can’t see her cocoa puffs. The same can’t be said for Natasha Farrow, though, who detonates the A-bombs on her chest when she unties her bikini top for a photo shoot. Modus Operandi is a feast of eye candy.
