The geniuses at National Lampoon invite viewers to play the role of discerning network-TV executive in the sly boob-tube spoof Lost Reality (2004). The hour-length special features snippets from pilots for fake reality-TV shows, including “The Amazing Racist,” which follows a Jewish protagonist in full Klan regalia as he harasses African-Americans, and “The Whore,” which informs lucky-in-love men that their dates have been paid to score. Unabashedly noxious in tone and hilarious in execution, the clip tape also boasts more breasts than you’d ever see on network TV. Monique Alexander, Demi Marx, and Flower Tucci all work hard to satisfy––and then embarrass––their none-too-unfortunate johns in “The Whore.”
