Kathleen Turner plays a woman losing grip on reality in the steamy thriller Julia and Julia (1987). On Julia’s (Kathleen Turner) wedding day in Italy, she gets into a car accident with her new husband, Paolo (Gabriel Byrne) and he does not survive. She decides to stay in the city in a small apartment, until one day she mysteriously passes into different but parallel timeline in which her husband never died.
