There is a reason Neil Sedaka wrote "Breaking Up is Hard to Do", because well, breaking up is REALLY hard to do!  You lose weight, you gain weight, you sleep with your ex again, you hate yourself, you hate them even more, and then of course you drink and dive down a wormhole of horrible vices until you find the next person to move on with for a bit...  For struggling writer Erin (Ellie Bamber) , she's going through all of the above, but she's also struggling with writer's block and an anxiety problem that is likely diagnosable.  Then she meets Paul (Justin Chon), a mysterious, talented, and confident published writer, she's begins to get caught up in his weird little world.  After a couple of nights of hard partying, they both decide that they are going to start a courtship of sorts, but they have the bright idea to do something different and film their entire relationship on a laptop as a sort of documentary of their love.  The only problem is that when you are on camera the whole time with someone, you truly don't get to know the actual person, especially if both of you are rolling on MDMA and in complete serotonin fueled love or coming down and shouting at each other for the entirety of your relationship.  Based on the Tao Lin novel Taipei, High Resolution (2020) takes you through young love and how not to do it.  Lucky for us though, star Ellie Bamber is a total "Baber" throughout and shows us some pokies while tripping in Taipei in a lengthy scene for the lone bit of skin in this one!
