Get Rich Quick (2004)

A corrupt detective is dispatched to get to the bottom of a devastating robbery in the jet-black Aussie noir Get Rich Quick (2004). The characters in Samuel Genocchio’s screwball romp are on opposing sides of the law, but all of them seem to be jockeying to be Australia’s most vile and unsavory menace. From the corrupt detective who leads the investigation to the immoral, sun-worshipping surfers he’s pegged for the crime, the players in Genocchio’s film are almost wholly beyond redemption. The lone exceptions, of course, are the beach-dwelling babes; Blazey Best and Tharini Mudaliar are well worth embracing as they lounge on the hot, white sand and let their curvaceous frames soak up rays.
