Flesh for Frankenstein (1974)

With its initial X rating, you can bet Flesh for Frankenstein (1974) is more of a bone inducer than a bone chiller. Also known as Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein, the film is writer/director Paul Morrissey’s reimagining of Mary Shelley’s classic novel from 1818. In other words, it’s a very loose interpretation — emphasis on loose! Udo Kier’s Baron von Frankenstein animates a delectable corpse played by Dalila Di Lazzaro. While the mad doctor tinkers with his obsession, his insanely-hot bride Baroness Katrin Frankenstein (Monique van Vooren) goes full frontal with the stableboy Nicholas (Joe Dallesandro). Things get really nuts when the Baron discovers his male monster doesn’t care very much for the ladies, thanks to the classic gag of accidentally using the wrong noggin to finish his project. As far as a plot, that’s all we’ve got. But if you’re looking for skin, allow us to point out some of the movie’s sexiest scenes. As a female monster, Ms.Di Lazzaro exposes her naked chest when the Baron brings her to life just 9 minutes into the movie. Nice Franken-rack! At the 22-minute mark, audiences are taken to a brothel where we get to view the big nude boobs and ’70s bush on a prostitute named Sonia (Rosita Torosh). Not to be upstaged, a blonde hooker (Imelde Marani) gets into the action by baring her breasts. If that’s not titillating enough, a large lady of the night (Fiorella Masselli) fills up the screen with her mamtastic assets. And they say size doesn’t matter!
