Monique started her career out in 1949 with a bit part in Domani e troppo tardi , but four years later, she would make a name for herself in the title role of Tarzan and the She-Devil. (As the “She-Devil,” silly…) Unfortunately, for her, at least, the part didn’t lead to a whole Helluva lot, excepting bit parts in such films as Gigi , Ten Thousand Bedrooms , and Ash Wednesday . In 1974, Monique did what any self-respecting actress would do for a much-needed paycheck; she appeared completely nude (for the first time) in Flesh for Frankenstein . Sadly, just as she was on the cusp of Skin Greatness, Monique hung ‘em up. She made a brief appearance in 1987’s Wall Street in an effort to revitalize her career, but alas, it didn’t, and she has been off the Entertainment Radar ever since.
