First Blood (1982)

Ex-Green Beret John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) is having a bad day. His friends are dead, he's a little cracked in the head, he's got nothing to do but drift, and then there's the whole Vietnam thing. Don't get him started. All this be-vexed vet needs is one jerkwad to push him over the edge. Obligingly, small-town sheriff Brian Dennehy comes along to do just that and get the ball rolling in First Blood: Ultimate Edition (1982). Bri tosses Sly into the slammer and treats him mighty unkindly, and for that a bunch of people are going to die. Mr. Rambo heads for the hills to wage guerrilla warfare on the police force of poor Podunk, Washington. The only one who might be able to talk him down is Richard Crenna, his former commanding officer . . . who advises the fuzz to get the body bags ready.
