In Evilspeak (1981), skinny kid Stanley Coopersmith (Clint Howard) is tired of being bullied by his military brothers at the West Andover academy. One day while translating some ancient tomes in Latin on his computer, Stan accidentally reanimates an excommunicated sixteenth-century priest and brings him into the present. Kicked out of the church for practicing Satanism, Father Esteban Lorenzo finds the perfect paranormal patsy in Stan. With his new fatal father figure as a ghastly guide, Stan wages holy war against his enemies using a flock of killer pigs to do his dirty work. Ron Howard’s Beelzebub-embodied bro plays the perfect hell-raiser with a Crowley-worthy credo of see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, have no fun!
