The Soviet family drama/Communist propaganda film Earth (1930), directed by Ukrainian true believer Alexander Dovzhenko, concerns itself with such scintillating topics as the collectivization of agriculture, the process of making bread, and the superiority of Socialist ideology over Russian Orthodox superstition. Oh, and did we mention that it's silent? Sounds like a recipe for a 76-minute nap, but(t) at least the ravishing E. Bodina gives us a good look at her Socialist sideboob and Marxist mudflaps getting dressed in her bedroom. Power to the peepers!
