Down with Love (2003)

The 2003 homage to romantic comedies of the 1960s Down with Love features Ewan McGregor and Renée Zellweger as an incorrigible womanizing journalist and a pretty young feminist guru who fall in love, despite all the odds, amid a sea of swingin’ set pieces. Ms. Zellweger doesn’t let us see either of her swingin’ set pieces, but she sure looks cute dancing around in her little negligee. Director and Raleigh, North Carolina, native Peyton Reed also directed HBO’s highly regarded comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David.
