Big Brother Trouble (2000)

Any red-blooded boy who has ever grown up in the shadow and within farting range of an older male sibling knows the pain of Big Brother Trouble (2000). The distressed kid in director Ralph Portillo’s comic paean to dysfunctional family dynamics is a romantic dreamer who sets his sights upon the new girl who has just moved in next door. Love is in the air, but so is the acrid scent of that older male sibling. Big bro is a larger, more experienced lothario than his next-in-line kin, but the pursuit of the female is one arena in which even a pipsqueak refuses to settle for hand-me-downs.
