Devil's Highway (2005)

A priest, a runaway, a handful of college folk, an older couple, two drivers, and a demon walk onto a bus, but trust us: Devil's Highway (2005) is no joke. In fact, it's downright downbeat, and this version of the devil comes with a delicious twist: He can jump from body to body! With each pit stop the bus takes on the way to Vegas, this naughty entity takes over a new set of skins. Luckily for him, each of his hosts has an unsavory side or a secret to hide, so no one is exactly innocent. The characters in this road trip to eternity are diverse and well drawn, with Shane Brolly of Underworld (2003) and model Natassia Malthe of Elektra (2005) sitting in the story's front seat. But the tale isn't able to maintain the constant heat needed to keep viewers from beating a retreat, and by the middle some critics found themselves lukewarm and confused. Whether or not the plot gets perplexing, one thing always remains clear: Natassia's got a supernaturally fantasstic rear.
