Crazy Mama (1975)

A beauty parlor gets repossessed, so the women running it go in hiding when the landlord comes to get all the money owed to him in Crazy Mama (1975). Produced by Roger Corman's wife Julie Corman, directed by a very young future The Silence of the Lambs (1991) director Jonathan Demme, and written by Death Race 2000 (1975) scribe Robert Thom, this one's as wild as you'd expect given that crazy collaboration of talents. Melba (Cloris Leachman), Sheba (Ann Sothern) and Cheryl (Linda Purl) are our familial trio that flee their life in 1950's Long Beach when the bills come due. Stealing their stuff back, they go back to Arkansas to acquire some farmland that they’d inherited years back, and in the midst of traveling, decide to go on a crime spree so they can buy back the farm if there's any trouble. Trouble really arises since the pregnant Sheba has a baby daddy looking to get back with her who refuses to let her leave him. With both the law and the inlaw on their tails, they gamble, lie, cheat and steal their way across the country until it all culminates in a big shootout with authorities. But you're crazy if you think they're going to go without a fight! All women are crazy, but these ones are insane! You probably know her for being a zany old lady in tons of stuff, but back in the day Cloris Leachman had plenty of men dreaming about that Leach sucking them off! She plays the second generation of the family, Melba, who shows backside when she lies on her bed without pants on. We also see Cloris' cans as she shaves a man's face with her mams in his face! Crazy mama? Daddy likey! Linda Purl, playing the third generation of the troop, also shows brief butt and boobs when some guys won’t leave her alone in the bathroom and keep opening the door while she changes. She can also be seen doing a little bit of bikini bouncing out on the sand. Bet she made the dudes of Long Beach quite long in the pants! Those are some hot mamas in Crazy Mama!
