Citizen Vigilante (2026)

If you're wondering whatever became of noted video game movie auteur Uwe Boll, turns out he's doing just fine and is still working in 2026! Boll's 38th feature film is Citizen Vigilante (2026)—originally titled The Dark Knight before getting a cease and desist from Warner Bros—a dark fascistic fantasy about a wealthy American businessman (Armie Hammer) going around Croatia murdering illegal immigrant criminals (and the criminal judges who released them onto the streets) with complete and total impunity. Naturally he becomes internet famous and is dubbed the film's non-copyright violating title by the netizens, striking fear into the hearts of non-Croatians all across the country. Hammer goes to a brothel in one scene, where the lovely Alona Hertha whips out her bare breasts to give him a break from all that vigilantism! And good news for you physical media fanatics out there, this will sit nicely on your shelf next to Citizen Kane.
