Cellar Door (2024)

Still reeling from a recent miscarriage, a mathematician named Sera (Jordana Brewster) and her husband John (Scott Speedman) decide to try and find a new home in the suburbs. Their realtor points them in the direction of the wealthy Emmett Claymore (Laurence Fishburne), who offers them an incredible deal - they can have his sprawling 1918 manor for free, as long as they never open the padlocked cellar. A free mansion? In this ecomony? They obviously agree to the terms, but sticking to the agreement ends up being harder than one would think. John’s work life falls apart when the coworker (Addison Timlin) he was having a secret affair with (while his wife was losing the baby) accuses him of sexual harassment. A former tenant shows up wanting to pour gasoline on the house and light it on fire. John suddenly becomes obsessed with wanting to know what’s in the cellar, threatening to upend their life just as Sera learns she’s pregnant again. We catch a glimpse of the steamy tryst, complete with flashes of Addison in her bra and some sexy side cheek as Scott bangs her against a wall, and there are two scenes of babymaking between him and Jordana, but the closest we get to nudity is a quick bit of side boob at just under twenty five minutes in. Forget what’s in the cellar, we want to see what these ladies are hiding!
