The British are a practical people, and the national trait of doing what is necessary and sensible extends to their actors of the female persuasion. When a vaunted thespian of the caliber of strikingly regal redhead Catherine McCormack is called upon to perform a realistic and hopefully rousing love scene, she intuitively knows to cast aside all pretense of shielding her modesty with an artfully placed towel, sheet, or shirttail. Not only are the snowy mounds of Catherine McCormack heaving tokens to authenticity in passionately portrayed embraces during erotic encounters in Loaded (1994), The Tailor of Panama (2001), 28 Weeks Later (2007), and The Moon and the Stars (2007), but the nipples are always convincingly hard. It must have something to do with that bit about the Brit stiff upper lip.
