You have to be a big girl to hang with the tough cops on the FX series The Shield--and Catherine Dent packed plenty of heat in her role as Officer Danny Sofer. We haven’t seen nearly enough of her in the locker room, but Catherine gets a Dent protruding from our denims every time the striking blonde takes up our big screen. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana Catherine stuck around dixieland before making every man go dick in hand, eventually graduating fro the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After appearing in the disappointingly Dent nudity free indie A Girl's Guide to Sex (1994), she got her start in stuff people actually watch by playing a reporter on an episode of Dallas. All that ass making up Catherine’s outlandish curves have made her a steadily rising star ever since her first big splash as Paul Newman’s hot daughter-in-law in Nobody's Fool (1994), while her unique retro look was put to good use when Catherine was cast as Ashley Judd’s sister in the romantic comedy Someone Like You (2001). She’s got talent too, as seen with a stellar turn in the acclaimed drama 21 Grams (2003). Catherine's also a proper sex symbol of the theater scene, having gone all sultry and sexy in stage productions of Baby Doll and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. On the small screen, you name the show and Catherine's been on it, from NCIS and Ghost Whisperer to Lucifer, How to Get Away With Murder and Grey's Anatomy. But with all this showbiz work, Catherine's never made a dent in the showing biz, with zero shows of her anatomy. While comic book fans might know her from playing General Hale on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., most of us know her as Danny Sofer on The Shield. While we usually like to see girls in the process of getting pregnant, we weren't exactly shielding our eyes when Catherine was in a black bra, rubbing her preggo belly.
