Often cast as a dark, exotic mystery woman, she originates from the sometimes weird but not quite exotic Bay area of San Francisco, California. She rode the dragon on the cover of Jefferson Starship's "Spitfire" album cover before after a handful of bit roles, she first burst into mainstream stardom as O'Malley on Trapper John M.D. After appearing in an episode apiece of Taxi and Fantasy Island, our fantasies came true when Cassandra really cast a spell as the woman known only as The Witch in the sword-and-sorcery classic Conan the Barbarian (1982).
