In the annals of popular culture, Calista Flockhart will forever be Ally McBeal, a sexy Boston lawyer given to flights of fancy played out on screen by way of the phenomenally popular and era-defining Fox TV comedy-drama that bears the character's name, Ally McBeal (1997 - 2002). Tiny in physical stature but titanic in her talents and boundless erotic appeal, Calista Flockhart skinitially went from small town Illinois to show biz by way of theater roles and a sweet gig as Elise on the CBS soap opera The Guiding Light.
