Caipiranha (1998)

A minor dispute between two neighborhood families leads to all out war in the German comedy Caipiranha (1998). It’s the Grabowski family versus the Wolters clan as an anniversary party becomes the lynch pin for a neighborly dispute that pulls no punches and spares no one. Between all the petty feuding a romance blossoms between the two eldest children of the warring factions, Sabine and Karsten (Jasmin Gerat and Marc Richter). The newly minted couple attempt to keep their love affair hidden, but that doesn’t work for long.
