Drei Herren (1998)

Bumbling escapees from a local mental institution integrate themselves into the daily life of a provincial village in the absurdist German comedy Drei Herren (1998). On their way to a new hospital, Dölken, Ivo, and Sichel make the mistake of thinking they’ve reached their final destination when their driver suffers a heart attack. The discombobulated wanderers disembark and head into a nearby village whose residents aren’t much saner than the newcomers. Sultry Austrian Regina Fritsch pops in for a supporting turn as an accommodating lady who treats our heroes to a full anatomy lesson.
