Elsa Kikoïne is something else-a—she's an archaeology student at a university specializing in Celtic history, she's a breast-baring beauty, and she's about to get herself deep in supernatural doody. That's the set-up for Brocéliande (2002), written and directed by Doug Headline (whose squaresville parents originally named him Tristan Jean Manchette). Since Elsa arrived at school, a series of spooky slayings has been snatching the unsuspecting out of the mortal coil. Exquisite Elsa is undaunted and goes on with her archaeological doings, which, unfortunately, involve archaeologically digging up ancient tombstones. When she unearths ancient Celtic stones in the mysterious Brocéliande forest, she comes face-to-face with the paranormal pest that's been terrorizing everybody right out of their bodies.
