Blindness (2008)

Mr. Skin likes to keep his eyes wide open while watching Blindness (2008). Not to be confused with Mira Nair’s drama Hysterical Blindness (2002) starring Uma Thurman, this skinternational thriller features a topless Julianne Moore! The R rated pic also includes Danny Glover, Mark Ruffalo, and Sandra Oh. Based on a novel by Portuguese writer José Saramago, the science fiction flick tells the story of an epidemic. Yes, contagious blindness has caused the government to confine those affected with it in quarantine wards. As the country’s social fabric unfurls, a man (Gael García Bernal) with a gun declares himself king and begins to extort valuables and sex from those in quarantine. Unknown to everyone there, one of the women (Moore) on lock-down still has her sight and uses it to lead some of the inmates out of the ward — only to find that the blindness has already spread to the rest of the world! You’ll be able to test the masturbation theory of whether or not that act makes you go blind when you watch Julianne take a shower with Alice Braga and Yoshino Kimura. The skintastic scrub down delivers views of the nude boobs on Ms. Moore and Ms. Braga. If that’s not arousing enough, Alice displays her naked T&A while crawling around the floor at the 16-minute mark. The sexy brunette also bares her breasts while having sex in another scene. Of course, it goes without saying that we’re glad blindness does not affect our appreciation for this movie!
