Billy Jack (1971)

Billy Jack (1971) is not exactly prime jacking material, but it stands tall as one of the most successful indie flicks of all time. The action drama reportedly only cost $800,000 to make yet raked in more than $32 million in ticket sales and rentals — and this doesn’t even account for the interest it generated in spank banks! As the titular character, Tom Laughlin reprises his role from The Born Losers (1967). He’s an ex-Green Beret, half-Native American and total kick-ass pacifist. Laughlin’s real-life wife Delores Taylor plays Billy Jack’s earth-mother squeeze Jean Roberts. She teaches at the alternative school in a small New Mexico town where Billy keeps the local hoodlums from running rampant over the student body. Speaking of, many of the sexy high schoolers featured are barely-covered hippie chicks (Debbie Schock, Julie Webb, Lynn Baker, Susan Sosa, and Teresa Kelly) in the lush bloom of their free-lovin’ youth. If that’s not hot enough, the big breasts on Miss False Eyelashes (Cisse Cameron) burst out of her bra. Unlike her name, her natural cans aren’t false at all! The movie also includes a view of Ms. Taylor’s bare back, boobs, bush and bum as she runs in the woods. Such a sight will give you wood! Least ways, that was the effect of some dudes who have their way with her. No doubt, Billy Jack will get even before his theme song “One Tin Soldier” kicks in. As for Mr. Skin, his tin soldier salutes whenever flesh is flashed!
