Review

Brendan Fraser is a loser who so pines for his unrequited love that he conjures Satan to help him make the conquest in Bedazzled (2000). This may sound like a typical horror setup, but here it’s played for laughs, as Fraser’s seven wishes don’t end up as he hoped. God, if you can’t trust the Prince of Lies, who can you trust? And when the devil is played by the hot-as-hell Elizabeth Hurley, at least eternal damnation is nothing to be frightened of. Forget about the devil made me do it; after watching this you’ll want to do the devil!
