Female cops tackle the violence and vice of their city’s red-light district in the steamy German television production Auf schmalem Grat (1999). Blonde goddess Isabel Schosnig stars as Conny, a harried beat policewoman who ends up committing suicide when the pressures of law enforcement overwhelm her. When close friend Carla (Ann-Kathrin Kramer) is transferred to Conny’s precinct, she begins to witness firsthand the bribery, harassment, and violence that plagued her predecessor. Rather than caving to the pressure, Carla unwinds by banging the local D.A. (Huub Stapel). This is clearly the superior option--as admittedly hot as Schosnig is in her performance as a limp corpse, Kramer is tough to top in her flesh-baring sex scenes.
