Arthur (2011)

Bad-boy comedian Russell Brand takes on the role originally played by Dudley Moore in the 2011 remake of Arthur. Arthur (Brand) is a childish, drunken, yet inexplicably lovable playboy who’s set to inherit a billion dollars if he marries the woman his mother has chosen for him- decidedly unlovable corporate executive Susan (Jennifer Garner). But Arthur is smitten with goofy tour guide Naomi (Greta Gerwig), and with the help of his nanny and friend Hobson (Helen Mirren), Arthur leaves his privileged lifestyle and tries to make it in the real world.Christina Calph gives us a flash of her polka-dot panties 7 minutes in as one of Arthur’s conquests, and Jennifer Garner gets silly-sexy in a black bustier as she drunkenly tries to seduce Arthur. (We get a flash of her panties, too, 54 minutes in.) But there are no golden globes to be seen in this aristocratic comedy- guess money really can’t buy happiness!
