With so many huge, giant, massive, big-screen blockbuster hits and A-list co-stars, Mr. Skin has to wonder who exactly does Annie McEnroe know in Hollywood? And the answer would be Edward R. Pressman—her husband. A big-time producer, Pressman is the man behind over 90 films, including a slew of The Crow flicks, both Wall Street movies, American Psycho (2000), Bad Lieutenant (1992), and a couple of Conan films. That being said, Annie did appear in both Wall Street (1987), and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) in smaller roles, but she was also on screen for three other Oliver Stone projects her hubby had nothing to do with—Born on the Fourth of July (1989), The Doors (1991), and Heaven & Earth (1993)—so she must have made a good impression on the director. Aside from the Stone connection, the amazing Annie was also Sally Mae Giddens in Running Scared (1980) with Ken Wahl and Judge Reinhold; Doreen in The Survivors (1983) with Walter Matthau and Robin Williams; had a star turn as Kay Culver in True Stories (1986), written and directed by and co-starring Talking Heads front man David Byrne; Jane Butterfield in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice(1988) with Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and a young Winona Ryder; Mrs. Sivil in CrissCross(1992) with Goldie Hawn; a crying woman in Mr. Jones (1993) with Richard Gere; a cameo role in Dangerous Game (1993) with Harvey Keitel and Madonna; and Dolly in S.F.W. (1994) with Stephen Dorff and Reese Witherspoon. For those skinematic moments, you’ll have to look at Annie’s early career. In The Hand (1981), she plays Stella Roche, and pulls her top off for Michael Caine, and in 1984, she’s topless in Purple Hearts(1984) while mouthing off to Ken Wahl.
