God kills in mysterious ways, according to the counter-culture comedy Angels (1976), about controversial artist Drew Abrams. The Holy Father sends down two angels to assist psycho assassin Vincent Schiavelli in murdering Abrams and his assistant--along with Abrams’s earthy and heavenly muse Marquita Callwood. Marquita also helps illustrate the wrath of God, as she displays some Latina lusciousness that no loving God would giveth and taketh away.
