Review

The war has been over for a year or two, but meat is still hard to come by in 1940s England. That's why a group of business types cook up a plan to illegally raise and slaughter a pig for Princess Elizabeth in A Private Function (1984). The princess is about to marry the future Prince Philip, you see, and the bunch figures a good pork will impress the couple. Unfortunately, Maggie Smith and Michael Palin have hatched a plan to nab the hog. Hilarity ensues!
