The New Guy (2002)

The scene for The New Guy (2002) is high school, senior year, focusing in on a geek named Dizzy Harrison. In order to turn his image around, he gets expelled from school, picks up some how-to-be-cool tips from a prisoner, and enrolls in another high school under the pseudonym Gil Harris. Not only is he drawing positive attention from jocks and geeks alike, he’s also catching the eye of a lead cheerleader. That being the case, her boyfriend isn’t too pleased about all of the averted attention. A lot of nice looking women pop up in this comedy flick, including Christa Campbell, Illeana Douglas, Sunny Mabrey, and Eliza Dushku. The latter plays the head cheerleader, and we get a scene of her trying out some skimpy clothing, which brings a tear to the new guy’s eyes. Maybe changing schools should be tried out more often for getting girls.
