Writer-director-actor Gunnar Hellström’s extravagant biopic Zorn (1994) details the life of early-twentieth-century Swedish painter Anders Zorn (played here by Hellström). In real life Zorn was celebrated for his paintings of nude women and notorious for his unending passionate pursuit of . . . well, nude women. And these facts, the movie, thankfully and spankfully, gets right. Especially arresting are Birgitte Söndergaard and Kristina Törnqvist as two of the master’s most lusciously full-bodied, sumptuously fluffy-lapped naked models. Talk about a couple of masterpieces . . . of ass!
