Winter's Tale (2014)

Winter's Tale (2014) is one nutty, nutty movie. It's a century spanning love story about a poor thief named Peter (Colin Farrell) who falls in love with Beverly, a dying rich girl (Jessica Brown Findlay). Peter used to work for Pearly (Russell Crowe), a servant of the devil who seeks to stop Peter and Beverly from getting together because Peter has some sort of miracle in him that he can use to cure death. When Peter fails to save Beverly from dying, he somehow becomes immortal and lives another 100 years with no memory of who he was, or why his miracle didn't work. Still with me? Okay, so then he meets this woman (Jennifer Connelly) who has a daughter dying of cancer, and is now going to try to use his miracle to save the daughter. This movie is bonkers! Sexy is the name of the game for this flick, with Jessica Brown Findlay always flirting with nudity, but never really showing anything. We get to see her naked from a long distance, giving us a squint-worthy look at her butt and left breast, and a scene where she bathes quite possibly has a loose nip under the water, but it's really hard to tell.
