She's one of Australia's most respected and versatile actresses, but Wendy Hughes has somehow never caught on in America--and that's a national disgrace, considering the big-screen debut of Wendy's big'uns in the Aussie import Jock Peterson (1974). Wendy showed her whoppers at home, work, and play in that film, and tossed in some full-frontal nudity. There wasn't much more than a slip of the nip in Lonely Hearts (1983), but Flash Fire (1981) had Hughes getting us sputtering with some underwater nudity. There are also fleeting glances of her finery in Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train (1987). But then Wendy got tired of making films like Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue (1992) and concentrated on her career as the Katherine Hepburn of Down Under.
