Verano salvaje (1980)

The sun’s hot, the water’s cool, and the babes are smokin’ in Enrique Gomez Vadillo’s ripe Mexican melodrama Verano salvaje (1980). Translated as Wild Summer, the film chronicles steamy romances that unfold over the course of hot, lazy afternoons on Mexico’s warm, sandy beaches. By night, the protagonists of Gomez’s film let the cool ocean breezes push them indoors for glitzy parties in which they show off their glittering gowns. Or, in Ana Martin’s case, they show off much more--the foxy actress lets her dress slip during an intimate pause at a fancy party.
