Torri Higginson first appeared on the Canadian cinematic scene in 1991 when she produced and starred in the short film The Photographer’s Wife. Fortunately, the little flick led to bigger and better roles pretty soon thereafter. In 1992, Torri landed a one-episode gig on the syndicated series Forever Knight, which led to a supporting role in the made-for-TV movie The Women of Windsor, which in turn led to a role in the original TekWar television flick and a career was thus born. Although Torri manages to pop up in skinema here in the States from time to time in such films as The English Patient (1996), the bulk of her work has been in the Great White North. Nevertheless, there are a few Canadian productions worth looking in to if one is so inclined to see Ms. Higginson in a noteworthy state of undress, such as the 1997 made-for-TV flick Balls Up which features a completely naked, albeit dimly lit Torri in bed with Albert Schultz for what seems to be ages. Balls out! Later that same year, she pulled her poppers out to play again, although briefly, in the thriller Double Take (1998). You'll be doing a double take of your own. And a triple take. And a quadruple take.
