Timeless (2016-2017)

Timeless debuted on NBC in 2016, the latest to traverse the genre that Back to the Future and Dr. Who and The Time Traveler's Wife have long since mastered. This time, a hot historian named Lucy (Abigail Spencer) is called in by the Department of Homeland Security along with a military man and a brilliant hacker to chase after a time terrorist who grabbed a top secret travel machine and has made it his mission to wreck all of history. This seems unwise if said terrorist wants to continue, but it's no matter - the series is much more about what goes down in history than it is a commentary on the viability of time travel. Each week has them exploring a new era and meeting new challenges, but none is yet as exciting as when Abigail showed incredible sideboob when she took off her bra to let her partner pick a lock with the clasp. Now THAT is the kind of heroism we can all get behind!
