The Red Road (2014-2015)

The Red Road is a Sundance Channel original series that first aired in early 2014. The show concerns a sheriff in a small New Jersey town that is battling not just his fractured family, but also a two warring factions of people that live in the nearby Ramapo Mountains. The show came under fire for its portrayal of the natives living in these mountains, but anyone who takes a show starring Jason Momoa seriously is just looking for trouble where there is none.  And speaking of none, the show has a serious dearth of nudity in its first season. Allie Gonino does her best to get things cooking on the first episode, jumping into a lake in her bra and undies, but apart from some dimly lit cleavage, there's nothing much else here to see. Best to save your load for something other than The Red Road!
