Religion has a funny effect on the victims of a car accident in the dark satire Forgiving the Franklins (2006). The titular family is comprised of archconservative southern Christians led by patriarch Frank (Robertson Dean). Mom Betty (Teresa Willis) is a humble homemaker, while son Brian (Vince Pavia), this being an indie comedy and all, is secretly homosexual. Daughter Caroline is an alluring teen played by porcelain-skinned, single-monikered knockout Aviva. After a shared near-death experience following an auto wreck, the Franklins arise from the ruins and turn into sex maniacs. Teresa’s nudity, in particular, is sinfully hot.
